   "Our Third Year!"

Three unique walking tours of the Jewish East End.
These are the only tours we do, so you can gather we're in love with our subject.
Let our enthusiasm rub off on you.

Sandys Row

7. The Sandys Row synagogue was founded in 1854 for the local community of Dutch Jews.

It is still a functioning synagogue

Soup kitchen

8. The soup Kitchen for the Jewish Poor was opened in 1902 to feed the hungry masses, largely through the efforts of the Jewish MP, Samuel Montagu.

It fed 6000 people every night.

Although the frontage is still there, the inside is a different story.

It is now the home and HQ of a property development company and the internal architecture and décor reflects this.

How times have changed!
